If you haven’t already, it’s time to start using affirmations. Affirmations are simply a way to remind yourself of how good you are and what you deserve. Morning affirmations are great because they can set your day up for success.
They can also be used as a tool to create habits and new routines in your life; they’re an active form of self-care that’s easy to incorporate into your daily routine. They’re incredibly powerful, so use them wisely!
What are Affirmations?
Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat to yourself. They can help you achieve goals, change your beliefs and behaviors, or do both.
You may have heard of affirmations being used to lose weight or quit smoking–and those are just two examples of what they can do!
Affirmations work because they help you focus on what’s good in life rather than what’s not working for you right now. When we focus our attention on the negative things about ourselves or our lives, we tend to attract more of those things into our experience–but when we focus on positive aspects, we can experience the more positive things in life!
It’s hard to break the habit of all of the negative self talk, but when you start to use positive affirmations, it can turn your life around.
Benefits of Morning Affirmations
Affirmations are a powerful way to boost your self-esteem
and create positive change in your life.
They’re a tool that can be used by anyone, regardless of their background or experience. Affirmations can be used to improve your mental health because you’re replacing negative self talk with more positive thoughts.
In some ways, it can also help your physical health. Affirmations can help with your confidence, and you can use affirmations for things like exercising.
How to Use Affirmations
There are a few different ways you can use affirmations.
Write them Down
One of my favorite ways to use affirmations is to write them down. This is one of the first things I do as a part of my morning routine.
It’s kind of like when you’re studying and it helps you remember when you write it down. Plus you can be more intentional when you write it.
Say them Out Loud
Another way to use daily affirmations is to say them out loud (or to yourself if you prefer).
It does feel weird at first, but after a few times you get used to it. Over time, you also start to believe them more if you don’t already.
Set Reminders
If you’re one to forget to do daily affirmations (like me) you can set reminders throughout your day. If you’re having a tough day, it can be a nice little pick me up.
Listen to Them
You can also listen to morning affirmations, or any other positive affirmations. There are tons of YouTube videos where there is audio of affirmations.
I like to them to them as I’m going to sleep or while I’m busy doing something.
