I’ve been divorced for about 3 years now. I don’t like the feeling of being alone and wanting to do things by myself. I always rather have a friend with me for simple things like going out on hikes or going out to the movies or to travel.
The only problem is that most of the few friends that I have are married. If I ask my daughter that is 20 or my son that’s a teenager to join me to go anywhere, it’s like pulling teeth with them sometimes.
Sucks being a single parent.

Very insightful article. I've always enjoyed my own company but with the help of a narcissistic husband, I lost myself along the way. I'm now sperated and trying to rekindle what I once had. It's been a confusing process and reading this article made my journey to a better place in my life easier.
Thanks:)

In reply to <a href="https://thrivingwonders.com/18-ways-to-glow-up-mentally-and-physically/#comment-5362">Sophie Lavis</a>.

Hi Sophie! It’s a great thing that you’re working on yourself! Just remember that the biggest part of glowing up is about feeling good. You can do all of the skin care and other stuff I listed, But the most important thing is that you feel good with who you are. Being productive is great, but remember it’s okay to have days where you do nothing or aren’t as productive as well. As for the skincare, sometimes Simple is better. What you’re using now is probably fine! I personally listed the skincare products that I use for my sun damage and aging skin. You don’t need those extras as young as you are! I understand wanting more responsibility and independence. I remember wanting the same things when I was young. Life goes by so fast. I would say just take it day by day and be grateful for the things you do have. When I look back, I wish I wasn’t so eager to grow up. While it’s good to improve and be your best self, remember to stay true to who you are!

Hi, I’m only 11 and I keep feeling like I need more in my life and I want to be productive. So I searched ways for kids to glow up and I found your site. I wrote down all the mentally and physically things you need to do to glow up and i’ve started to do lots of them. I’m struggling with skin routine though because I’m to scared to ask my mum if I can get skin care stuff because I feel like she will say no I’m to young. We have one thing I use, it’s like gentle skin cleanser and it is Cetaphill. That’s the only thing I’m using at the moment. Although everything else you have mentioned I have put thought into doing it. I went out and changed my hair and I got some cute curtain bangs. They really make me look older and that’s what I wanted, even though I’m only 11 in year 5, I want lots more responsibility and independence, and I want a glow up, like really desperately. Thank you. Bye

Hi! I actually had some medical problems after this and stopped posting on Pinterest for like 6 months, so it tanked. But I started posting again a couple of months ago and it’s slowly building back up! It’s definitely a lot harder this year since they’re pushing shopping and idea pins. I’d love to post another income report! I haven’t made a lot, but I’m definitely making more from ads than I used to. :)
